Lisa Maione (b. Tokyo, Japan 1983) is a New York City-based designer, currently working as Assistant Art Director for Metropolis magazine.
Concurrently, she works on and manages graphic design projects with local community organizations, small firms and artists. Clients include Southwest Brooklyn IDC, Matter Practice, Coffee Cup and Parsons The New School for Design.
Prior to Metropolis, she worked for several design studios where projects included work for the International Center of Photography, Melcher Media, Steuben Glass, Excellence Charter School, Friends of the Highline, Maclaren and Starbucks. Design experience and interests include book design, exhibition graphics, editorial and brand exploration. She also draws, takes pictures and enjoys folding paper.
